About Shahrooz Eshaghian

Shahrooz Eshaghian, MD FACP is a triple boarded diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialities in Hematology & Oncology. He has over a decade expertise in treating patients with a broad spectrum of hematological & oncological malignancies and blood disorders with an emphasis in personalized care. Dr. Eshaghian graduated from UCLA Summa Cum Laude, with College Honors and Phi Beta Kappa. He then received his MD from the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine with a distinction in hematology & oncology research. He completed his internship & residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and went on to complete a fellowship in hematology & oncology at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, serving as chief fellow. Throughout his career, Dr. Eshaghian has been involved with cancer research, which has received recognition & presentations at national conferences and has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals. He also is involved with various local and national organizations & currently sits on the board of the Institute for Myeloma & Bone Cancer Research. Dr. Eshaghian is an active attending physician at Cedars Sinai Medical Center (ranked as the #1 hospital in California and #2 in the USA) and a clinical instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. As a highly respected medical oncologist and hematologist, Dr. Eshaghian is considered among the best clinicians in the nation and has received several prestigious awards throughout his career, including being voted a Southern California Super Doctor for six consecutive years and Los Angeles Magazine Top Doctor since 2020. Dr. Eshaghian is passionate about helping people and puts his patients at ease by educating them about their disease & treatment and making sure all of their questions are answered. In his care, patients can expect undivided attention and compassionate guidance on how to navigate their diagnosis. When he's not in the office, Dr. Eshaghian enjoys spending time with his wife (Yael) and four children (Navah, Naomi, Shaya, & Joshua). His interests include traveling, photography, cooking, basketball, swimming, teaching, reading, and watching movies. To better serve his patients, Dr. Eshaghian is fluent in Farsi & proficient in Hebrew.
