Jennifer A. McNulty, MD

Jennifer McNulty, M.D., is a board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialist with the Magella Medical Group. She serves as the Program Director for the OB/GYN Graduate Medical Education Program at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center.

Her clinical focus is the care of women and their fetuses who are at high risk for and/or have developed complications or challenges during the pregnancy. Dr. McNulty performs special care for the fetus who may require additional monitoring, in utero diagnosis and treatment, and/or coordination of care before birth. Dr. McNulty especially loves to work in partnership with women from the pre-conception time, through the pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. She also loves partnering with all the compassionate skilled nurses and staff at Miller Children’s & Women's to provide excellent team-based care to women and their families during any needed hospitalization in pregnancy including labor and delivery.

After earning her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, Dr. McNulty completed her residency in obstetrics-gynecology and a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Dr. McNulty is dual board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine.

For the past 10 years, she has been the chair of the multi-disciplinary Women’s Best Practice Team at MemorialCare which works to ensure the highest level of care for all birthing people at MemorialCare hospitals. She is a past recipient of the Long Beach Medical Center Munzer Family Teaching Award, the Long Beach Medical Center/Miller Children’s & Women’s Physician Leader of the year, the MemorialCare Physician of the Year, and The Annual Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award at the University of California, Irvine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and travel with her husband. She especially loves hiking and running in Yosemite National Park.
