Mo wants her patients to know: “I used to be where you are.” She was working as an elementary school teacher when a health issue sent her to an OB/GYN. “I felt very cared for,” she says. “When my doctor asked if I’d ever thought about becoming a medical provider, I realized how important compassionate care can be – and now, here I am.”

As a certified nurse midwife and nurse practitioner, Mo emphasizes listening to her patients, advocating for them, and educating them so they can make the right decisions for themselves and their families. Her professional passions include lactation research, building patient relationships and watching parents gain confidence with their children.

A graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, Mo earned a master’s degree in teaching before going back to school to become a medical provider. She completed her doctorate in nursing practice (DNP) and her certification as a nurse midwife (CNM) at Oregon Health and Science University. She also is an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC).

Outside of work, Mo is a ceramicist. Her personal passions include cohousing, cats and British television.
