As a Certified Nurse Midwife, Jillian specializes in lactation and breastfeeding support. “I enjoy all the time I get to spend with patients and their families,” she says. “It’s a time that’s often full of brand-new experiences and ups and downs, and I love watching things evolve, improve, and reach a space where people feel really satisfied with their care and outcomes.”

In working with her patients, Jillian emphasizes shared decision-making. “Patients lead the conversation with their goals,” she says. “My role is to honor their goals and to provide up-to-date, evidence-based information to help them make the best possible decisions for themselves and their families. This is a safe space where we can figure out what needs to happen next, together.”

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at California State University, Long Beach, Jillian spent nearly 10 years working in reproductive care before deciding to expand her scope. She continued her education at Oregon Health & Science University, where she completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) and her certification as a Nurse Midwife.

In her personal life, Jillian enjoys hiking, reading, drinking coffee, and spending time with her family and her dogs.
