Dr. Appel explained everything in clear terms and with confidence and knowledge of my current condition. He listened to my concerns and addressed them all. I was VERY pleased that he offered to pray with us at the end of the visit. His acknowledgement of a higher power lowered my anxiety about this proceedure.

Dr. Appel is an amazing physician. He listens to my concerns, answers my questions thoroughly, and always makes me feel as he is concerned for my welfare. He is patient and kind, and I have been very happy with the care he provides to me. His staff are rockstars as well. Always very welcoming and when I call with a question and no one is available, they always call back. It took 6 months to get in for initial visit, but I think it is because he is so busy. Highly recommend.

Very pleased with Dr Appels appointment

Very good experience. I left feeling very good about my heart condition. Will return next year for my yearly exam.

I experienced some confusion as to the scheduling of appointments and needed to come to the Heart Institute to get things straightened out. The staff was able to clear up the confusion and was helpful in answering questions.

As Usual, Dr. Appel provided excellent health care and advice. I am very pleased with himself and his team at Providence.

Good visit

Dr Appel was the nicest & most informed Dr I can think of. He was very patient with me as I had a lot of questions, including one more after my visit which I called his office to inquire about. His team members were very courteous and helpful in answering my questions & they reached out to the Dr to check his opinion for my question. I feel very well cared for. I have not had my test which the Dr ordered yet so I do not have an answer for how promptly they got back to me on the results.

Provide clear and concise information and listened well to our concerns. He gave a good picture of what to expect and problems I may have in receiving micro surgery to replace my valve.

Appointments usually booked well in advance of visit. Usually receive responses and communicate thru MyChart within one to two days. The responses are sometimes vague but was always able to get clarifications quickly. Most MyChart responses are from Dr. Appels staff but I did get a direct call from Dr. Appel clarifying a concern. I greatly appreciated that.

My doctors have very good they take the time to explain my condition

Dr Appel's warmth, caring and thoroughness cannot be adequately described. It is hard to believe that his many years of service have not left him in the slightest depleted or calloused. He is an incredible blessing to this office and the patients he sees. I have loved providers from other disciplines but he has soared above them all in excellence and fundamental character. I can't imagine anything he could do to improve what he provides. Shall I go on?

I feel extremely lucky to have Dr Appel for my cardiologist. He is by far the best doctor I've ever had. He communicates well and makes certain I understand his prescriptions. Again he's the best!!

Dr Appel is aways helpful. We had two appointments scheduled too close together. One with Dr Appel and then with another provider. Dr Appel and his staff were so accommodating, helping us do both appointments on time! Special thanks to all !
