About Marina Iskandir
Marina Iskandir is a Board Certified Cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology specialist with 7 years of experience. After completing her training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center she stayed on as assistant professor for a few years and now has joined Covenant Medical Group to further grow and expand her practice while continuing to serve the Lubbock community. Her core competencies include performing complex cardiac and peripheral procedures, conducting research and publications, mentoring and training learners of all kinds, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. She has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed articles, presented at national and international conferences, and received awards for clinical and academic excellence. Her mission is to advance the field of Interventional Cardiology with a focus on Women's cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment through innovation, excellence, and compassion.
