Joseph C. Yu, MD

Joseph C. Yu, MD, FACC, is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. He is a diplomate in Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography, certified by the Board of Nuclear Cardiology, and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. Dr. Yu provides personalized and advanced cardiac treatment to all his patients with an expertise in the endovascular treatments of complex coronary and peripheral artery diseases. He is dedicated to Cardiovascular research involving the prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease and has numerous publications in the field. Dr. Yu earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Brown University and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City, completing his final fellowship year as Chief Fellow. Dr. Yu then completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at New York University Langone Health. He is a member of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions and the American College of Cardiology. Outside the office, Dr. Yu enjoys playing baseball, tennis, surfing, and spending time with his family. He is passionate about medical missions, bringing healthcare to those without access to it. Dr. Yu is fluent in Korean and Spanish.
