John N. Bahadorani, MD

John N. Bahadorani M.D., F.A.C.C., is a board-certified interventional cardiologist. Interventional cardiology involves the opening of blocked blood vessels with minimally invasive catheter procedures. Dr. Bahadorani treats people with acute myocardial infarction (heart attack), coronary artery disease, heart valve disease, peripheral vascular disease, critical limb ischemia (CLI) and other heart and vascular conditions. He has extensive experience with the insertion of percutaneous ventricular assist devices to support both complex coronary interventions and to treat cardiogenic shock. Dr. Bahadorani’s clinical expertise also includes aortic valve replacement (TAVR), radial (wrist) artery approaches to coronary angiography, and percutaneous (nonsurgical) treatment of peripheral vascular disease (disease involving the arteries of the legs, arms, and neck) and structural heart disease. He has both authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts in several medical journals, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, Circulation Cardiovascular Interventions, International Journal of Cardiology, the American Journal of Cardiology, and the Journal of Invasive Cardiology. Dr. Bahadorani is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is quadruple-board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine. Additionally, he has been certified as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
