About Murtaza I. Bharmal
Dr. Murtaza Bharmal is an accomplished board-certified Cardiologist with specialized expertise in Interventional Cardiology. His medical career spans over a decade and is marked by leadership, innovative research, and exceptional patient care. Dr. Bharmal earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with honors from UC San Diego, after which he worked as a research and development engineer at Abbott Vascular. He subsequently earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, where he served as Class President for the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society.
Dr. Bharmal completed his Internal Medicine residency at the renowned University of Chicago Medical Center, followed by a Fellowship in General and Interventional Cardiology at the University of California, Irvine, and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where he later served as Chief Fellow.

His work has been widely published in esteemed journals such as Catheter Cardiovascular Interventions and Resuscitation.
