Sometimes it takes more time with certain patients. Rushing a doctor to meet deadlines is very irritating. They should not have to hurry to meet the next appointment. I'm willing to wait for my appointments early or late. Health care from a doctor can't be timed weather providence is short of physicians or not. People can wait for good health care. I am one of the lucky people who don't take a lot time. My physician is very thorough.

For sometime I did not feel my meds were controlling my HBP so in advance of my appointment I came with about 20 days of elevated BP statistics. I did not feel I had an accurate reading from the PA who took my vitals so doctor took that reading as most accurate vs. The 20+ days I brought to the office. In hindsight I felt at least we could have had someone else take it again while I was there and it could have avoided a trip to the ER. Ohherwise Dr. Stevens does a good job of managing my overall health.

I don't know how the other providers are but Dr. Stevens is one of the best physicians I have seen in the last 10 years.And I have seen a few because they keep quitting outpatient care. But Dr. Stevens takes my health seriously, which is something the last few positions I've seen have not.Luckily, I have nothing life-threatening or debilitating, but I do have a lot of little issues that most physicians are not put together and look at the whole picture. Dr. Stevens does. I hope he does not leave outpatient practice. I feel like I am in good hands and he's got my health as a priority.
