About J. S. Smitherman
I believe that each patient deserves my complete dedication and attention, so I take the time needed to address their problems. I am a "less is more" kind of doctor. I am not going to ask you to pay for and then swallow a pill unless I am confident from medical research and experience that it is beneficial. The bottom line — I would not provide recommendations to my patients that I would not also provide to my own family.

Providence Patient
For a first time visit with Dr. Smitherman, he ask me a lot of questions about my medical history, read my medical file and recommended that I get blood work done soon. He showed a lot professionalism even though I was not one of his regular patients. FIVE STARS!!!!
Providence Patient
As always, a consistently good experience with the group and the provider.
Providence Patient
First time I had him, he will be a good backup for my regular doctor. I could see him replacing him in the future
