I have only seen Dr. Yu for my annual well visit checks and have not had reason at this point to make an appointment for another reason. Though she has 2000 patients, I find her to be knowledgeable, personable and respectful. I was able to make my appointment for 2025 at this last appointment which was appreciated.

My appointment was as a new patient with Dr. Yu since my previous doctor retired. The wait for new patient visits is extremely long; I had to wait at least nine months before an appointment time was available. Still, the wait was worth it because I was very happy with Dr. Yu and am glad she will be my main doctor from now on. Of course, my health wasn't in jeopardy so the wait was not as big a deal to me as it may be for someone needing a new doctor.

I have full faith in Dr. Wendy Yu to provide great care and advice to ensure I stay healthy and happy. She is terrific!

I was impressed with the care that Dr. Wendy Yu provided as well as the urgent care doctor that I selected from the internet when I found that it would be two weeks to two months before I could see a doctor in the West Hills practice. My frustration was over the busyness of the West Hills practice and that I was told to look outside to find more immediate help. I selected a Providence Urgent Care facility and I am grateful for the high quality of care I recieved from all who assisted me. I probably would have felt more cared for by West Hills if I would have been told to turn to a Providence Urgent Care facility and a doctor from West Hills would follow up when they were available. I recognize the difficulty of busy schedules.

I can't say enough about Dr. Yu's attentive compassion and caring for me as a patient. She stays deeply informed about and interested in my personal medical history and current situation - and pays apt attention to my progress with the issues we discuss. I feel positive and uplifted after every visit.

Providers in this office work together well. After a year, I feel my primary doctor knows me much better and I trust her more and more. During a long period of COVID recovery and being ignored or discounted (other providers) I am very satisfied that I am taken seriously and receiving very helpful care. Scheduling with specialists takes way too long-not this clinic's fault but frustrating.

Dr. Wu was well prepared for my visit considering she is not my regular physician. She is a very good communicator and the visit was a good two way conversation. She addressed another issue she noticed in my ER visit report and discussed that I needed to address it with my regular doctor. Very helpful.She has a good sense of humor and is very patient. I enjoyed meeting her and getting acquainted.

Dr. Yu is just wonderful. I feel seen/heard and Dr. Yu is very intelligent and sensitive and takes time to explain things and answer questions. Dr. Yu is an excellent GP.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Yu, and she listened to everything is asked. My former Doctor just did not seem to have the time, or care.The whole staff was very caring, and listened to all my concerns. We could not cover everything, and Dr. Yu scheduled me another appointment to make sure we could cover everything.

Needed more time, still had more questions, but the ones I got answered cleared up some concerns.

Dr Wendy has always been fantastic. Her demeanor is calm and friendly, she prepares well beforehand to answer any questions I have, she explains any changes to medication/diet/etc that she would like to try and ensures that I'm comfortable with them before making them official.
