Onyin Vanessa was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and relocated with her family to Humble, TX at the age of three. She left Humble for her undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri, followed by a Master’s degree in Philadelphia at Drexel University before beginning medical school at St. George’s University.
As the child of a librarian, Onyin Vanessa is an avid reader who enjoys everything from science fiction to romance novels. She also enjoys attending concerts, practicing vinyasa yoga, and watching almost anything that Netflix has to offer.
