Megan Schermerhorn, MD

Dr. Schermerhorn grew up in Vancouver, WA. As the first member in her family to graduate college, Megan moved to the Midwest after high school to attend Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. During her time at Macalester, Megan worked as a health advocate at a local underserved high school, where she developed a passion for the intersection between educational access and healthcare disparities. After graduating, Megan returned home to attend the University of Washington’s School of Medicine where she completed clinical rotations throughout Washington, Alaska, and Montana. These unique experiences sparked an interest in the unique challenges of rural medicine.
