Excellent attention to my needs

Dr Esselink was excellent. I finally felt heard. She didn't make excuses for symptoms. She talked to me like I mattered. This was my first visit with her for establishing care. I felt VERY comfortable. I hope she never leaves. Dr. Esselink YOU ARE THE BEST!!! AWESOME

Dr Esselink has been our primary care Dr. For many years. When we see her she is very engaged with our questions and concerns. She often asks for clarifying. Information for purposes of diagnosing our issue. When we leave her office , we know that she completely understands our concerns and has a clear plan as to how are issues will be addressed. She speaks regular people language and does not overwhelm us with information.We do not understand. We consider her family and she knows us well. We both trust her with all of our care! We highly.Recommend her to everyone and anyone!

I was very happy with the care I received

Appreciate all the help they gave me and they were very helpful. But I'm still going through the moment of being evicted.

This care provider had never seen before this appointment. She treated me with respect and listened carefully as I explained my concerns. She gave me good explanation about the "pouch" on the left side of my left knee cap. I had another problem that I hadn't mentioned when I made the appointment. She graciously explained the problem and offered helpful advise. I would not be hesitant to have her as one of my care providers again.

Dr Esselink is amazingly aware of who I am, my current situation, my personal and medical histories and concerns. She creates a warm, accepting, non-judgmental space where I feel comfortable discussing any health/life concern I might have. I like her and feel I can really trust her.

Dr. Esselink met me 2 days after I went to the ER. Her manner was both warm and supportive. I felt heard, which made it easy to share my history and concerns. There was never any doubt that I was in good hands.

Dr. Esselink is the best dr I have had in my 80 years of life. Her compassion, demeanor and personality are outstanding. She should be held up as an role model for other doctors. I always know she will have the knowledge to take care of me.

I usually have to wait more than 15 min fory appointment with Dr. Esselink, But, it's always well Worth it! I make sure I have time in my schedule for possible overage because I know she takes her time with patients to make sure they are well informed and receive the best care possible! She, and her team, is/are the best female PCP and care team I've ever had and I am extremely appreciative of that! Thank you! :-)

DR ESSELINK IS A VERY GOOD DOCTOR. SHE IS EASY TO TALK TO. SHE IS VERY "REAL".(I would like to do a survey on the Immediate care facility next door to the Internal care clinic. Different story there.)

Dr Esselink is compassionate, thorough, and knowledgeable. If she's unsure, she'll do the research! She's a good listener and makes you feel like you're her most important person at that time. She also genuinely apologizes when she runs late and makes you wait.

Dr Esselink is subperb as a Provider who listens, who is aware re Med Hx, who is knowledgeable and willing to review if needed and followup post that review. Empathetic Model of a Faith based Professional Referrals have been given by me when colleagues have mentioned wanting an excellent Provider. My Life feels secured by this Provider . Dr Esselink is respectful and thorough in assessment Plan, Tx and F/u. Thank you for Dr Esselink !!! Take care to allow her to continue to perform at this optimal level . My Appt w/ Dr Easelink combined a followup and further assessment for a problem w/ my annual PE Ther was no need for staff to give me results from diagnostic testing due to seeing the Dr in 2 days post Lastly. 1. Would love to see no touch dispensers in clinic rooms for sanitizing ; 2. Immediate Care waiting should be separate from the Clinic waiting as you Implement updates n remodels Thank you for Providence Mission !!!Blessings

I've always felt supported in this clinic with Dr Esselink and staff. I've had no bad experiences. I haven't with and seen many providers. They are all genuine, knowledgeable and caring.

Barbara Esslink is an amazing and very understanding doctor who I would recommend her to anybody.

She is absolutely, the Best Doctor I've Ever had. And at 68 years young I've Seen a lot of doctors.

She is superb and well respected by specialists to whom she referred me to see.

Love Dr. Esselink, she listens and doesn't demand or pressure me on taking anything I am not comfortable. She is the first and only doctor I am not afraid of talking to. Other past doctors I don't talk much. I am hoping she will stay with Providence in Portland until she retires. I will keep on going to see her and if she leaves then I will follow her but has to be in Portland area.

The worst part is it takes a long time to get an appointment with my actual provider. Seeing PA or other is not same as actually seeing Dr. Esselink. Also, phone wait time is lengthy when calling in. As far as Dr. Esselink specifically, she is a great doctor.

I am beyond grateful to have Dr Esselink as my PCP.She is an attentive and compassionate person In addition to being an excellent practitioner.

She is the most qualified and up to date about the care I need, Diagnostic, treatment, medications,and genuine cares for me and never forgets that I am a complex case with many needs, and sees that I get referrals to colleagues to help.

I like my doctor just fine. He seems to be well informed in her dresses issues that I bring up to her very satisfied with her performance thank you.
