Tyrell M. Jagelski, PAC

In his youth, Tyrell Jagelski, PA-C, worked as a health care volunteer. “I realized early on that I could make a positive impact on people’s lives as a physician assistant,” he says. Moved by the relationships forged among providers and patients and their families, Tyrell chose to specialize in primary care. “I try to see the whole person and understand the subtle nuances of a patient’s life,” he shares. In his practice, Tyrell strives to be a patient advocate and believes his most important role is to build valued relationships. “I involve patients in all aspects of their care,” he says. “When patients are well educated about their health, they can make informed decisions about their goals based on what is most important to them—and optimize their health so they can lead fulfilling and rewarding lives.” Tyrell earned his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University and his master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Oregon Health & Science University. Born in Japan, Tyrell was raised in Oregon and married his high school sweetheart. “I live in Newberg and love this community,” he says. When not at work, Tyrell enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two sons, playing basketball and being active in his church community.
