About Karin B. Kuhl
Dr. Karin Kuhl considers herself a teacher, motivator, supporter and coach. "I enjoy the connection I share with my patients," she says, "and the relationships I've formed over time. My goal is to help people and make a positive difference in their lives."
She says that no matter her patient's age, she encourages them to be proactive and recognize what they can do to promote health and prevent disease. "I try to empower my patients and show them the important role they play in their own health," she says.
Dr. Kuhl earned her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University. She completed her internship and residency at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from University of Washington. She is board certified in internal medicine.
She grew up in the Rogue Valley. When she's not working, Dr. Kuhl enjoys spending time with her family, including her two sons, downhill skiing, running, hiking, fishing and camping.

I am currently going through an extremely difficult divorce after being married for 32 years and I have an autistic adult son. Doctor Kuhl is familiar with my situation and is my lifeline and is not only helping me with my physical health but also ensuring that my mental health is taken care of. Now I know that her company keeps her on a tightrope and she has very little room to breath when going from room to room!!!!! You would never know it when she is in the room with me. I feel that she is there 100% and treats me as if I were special. I could not ask for a better doctor. I just hope her company knows that and ensures that she knows that as well.

She is a brilliant doctor, but I feel there is not enough time to get to understand everything that is needed sometimes. I had a lot of big issues to figure out this time. Ultimately, she forwarded me to phys. Therapist that got me in a week later who was very helpful. But I had a very difficult week waiting to see someone else.

Dr. Kuhl is up-to-date on current medical research and Information that applies to me, she listens, asks questions, seeks to understand my medical/health situation at our visits, and clearly explains medical information. In addition, she Is compassionate and empathetic, all while meeting her schedule. She makes appropriate referrals in a timely manner, follows through on referrals, medication prescriptions and follow up calls, and most importantly she cares.Also the Ashland clinic medical assistants, lab specialist and office staff are respectful, friendly and follow through. I could not ask for a better doctor of medical office team.
