Very professional office

This was my first visit with Dr. Lawson. He is the fourth nephrologist I've been to over the past seven years. He is by far the best doctor I've been to regarding my kidney health. I finally found the doctor I've been looking for and felt a huge sense of hope for the first time in many years.

Best provider experience in a very long time. Thorough explanation of issues discussed; careful consideration of my questions; responsible-knowledgable response to health concern that wasn't the primary reason for my visit but that was observed during that visit

Dr.Lawson is the first provider ever to listen to my chronic kidney stone situation. He then prescribed a very simple solution and I have been free of these stones ever since!!! Why did I have to suffer 50 years?

Dr. Lawson and staff did an excellent job on my illness. I still have to see Dr. Lawson regarding my issue,and I know I will be getting the best.

Doc had a plan for future exams. Pending those results, he said he would make recommendations to resolve the issue.

The provider seemed to listen carefully to my description of my history and my concerns regarding the referral question. He laid out possible contributing factors without jumping to conclusions, and scheduled the next diagnostic procedure. I left the session with confidence in his expertise and his ability to balance urgency and the need for a systematic, stepwise diagnostic process.

Did an impressive job of preparing for appt with reviewing cardiology and neurology reports past 6 months. Had already formulated questions and recommendations regarding meds/tests/tx plan . Listened to and gave credence to my input (I am a retired RN with advanced practice credentialing). Incorporated new info /concerns I had and ordered appropriate testing.I am a medically complex patient with cryptogenic CVA's and heart problems ,as well as hx of cobalt heavy metal poisoning and he listened to and clinically addressed my concerns. I did my own f/u to assure I had the ordered scans/monitoring/bloodwork ordered despite instruction on visit summary to wait for his office to f/u and schedule. Have only heard via My Chart that the ordered tests were approved,so I have scheduled them myself.

This was my initial encounter with Dr Lawson and l was very impressed with his knowledge and ability to educate me
