I enjoy Internal Medicine because it allows me to take care of the whole person, addressing all of his or her health needs. Listening and education are important aspects of my practice. I want my patients to understand their health problems and risk factors so they can make healthy choices. I focus on disease prevention, as well as helping patients successfully manage a broad range of chronic conditions, from hypertension to diabetes.
There is nothing more important to me than the health and safety of your children. As a strong advocate of vaccinations, I believe that ensuring the children who visit our office are fully vaccinated is the single most important thing I can do to keep your children and your community safe. I have been dr savalias patient for years. I believe that she is caring and very professional. She is very thorough and values my concerns!

Overall I am pleased with my care and visit beyond the long wait to see the doctor post medical assistant taking base vitals. I overheard that some appointments immediately before me were marked not as wellness visit but normal appointments. This difference did not allot enough time for Dr. Savalia to operate. I believe the appointment system used by Providence should be modified to better schedule wellness visits versus "immediate care or I'm not feeling well" during a week. It might be helpful to the provider if certain days or portions of days are wellness visits which require more time spent. Dr. Savalia is always very diligent and thorough which is why my wife and I are patients of her versus other providers. If the scheduling tool was better, this would help with the time to see the provider when wellness appointments that require longer time with doctor are miss-categorized.

Dr Savalia is an excellent doctor and I've seen her about 20 years since she started with St Jude. Her medical assistant was more thorough than any other MA I've had recently. Her staff is excellent. I'm not happy with the newer St Jude phone system because you could never contact your doctor office. Everything has to be by message through MyChart.

The provider was late to the appointment time by 30 minutes or so.I felt rushed during the appointment.The provider explained the insurance cost involved in regards to office visit versus annual wellness visit. I scheduled for my annual wellness visit (I only see the provider once a year) to discuss my lab work.Provider explained since I have cholesterol and I am borderline on A1C1, my wellness visit should be an office visit not a wellness visit.I don't think provider should be concerned about billing and money instead of taking care of the patient.As a patient, I go and see the provider for my lab work, to discuss the results part of my annual wellness not having to worry about how much I will be charge for talking with the provider.When topic can or should I discuss with the provider so that I am there for wellness and not office visit?Why does a patient have that burden?

First Dr. Savalia scheduled this appointment at 2pm a month ago. Then I sat in the waiting room for more than an hour. When I did get into the waiting room, to see Dr. Savalia, the nurse took my blood pressure and it was high because I was upset about waiting. Then Dr. Savalia came into the room and apologized for the lateness. As Dr. Savalia went over my chart she continues to insist I take a [ID] for my cholesterol. It states in my chart that I had a by reaction to the [ID]. During the visit I felt that Dr. Savalia wasn't listen to my concerns regarding [ID] and taking them. Then Dr. Savalia pushed vaccinations for the flu and COVID which I am against taking. If doctors are going to push the COVID vaccine and know that the vaccine can and has caused several health problems, they need to do more research and understand the patients concerns. At this time, I am feeling I need to change doctors because I felt Dr. Savalia did not listen to my concerns.
