He makes sure you're ok. I went to ER twice for pneumonia and he followed my case closely and called me when he saw the ER notes the very next day. He made sure I understood I was to call him if I needed anything. He also prescribed me a steroid inhaler which the ER failed to do. Such a great bedside manner too. Best PCP I've ever had in my lifetime! We need more like him. He deserves recognition for his outstanding genuine performance as a doctor.

Straight to the point. Listened carefully to my thoughts. His understanding of issues around my request was broad and current. He wasn't aware of stem cell treatments for my developing condition, but was not closed to my concept of asking for possible inclusion in a new study at a regional hospital. I was happy and a little surprised that Dr. Levin had remembered that I had placed one of my medications on hold and did not authorize a refill when the pharmacy called. I don't think that this was in the record but we had talked about this. He seems to be problem driven - that is, focused on solving a problem but not necessarily looking at the context as a whole. He still doesn't 't seem to know much about me. Although this may seem critical, I do want to like him. He just seems difficult to really know or to follow his thinking.

I was told to take tylenol. No other options. I wasn't asking for narcotics, but maybe a drug for migraine type headache. He just kept saying take tylenol. Told me to see my eye doctor if vision changed. I could get that advice from my neighbor. I did not feel like he was hearing me or cared.

My right ear was plugged with wax and I had tried an over-the-counter squeeze bottle and liquid with no help. Pain began so I called my doctor's office to see if I could get in QUICKLY! This was at 8:00am. The receptionist listened to me whining and said she could get me in at 9:30am! Wow, was that quick? I threw on my clothes jumped in my car. I was off......once there I was sent to a room, the Doctor came in, looked and then sent in a Tech that had some difficulty flushing the wax out.
