About Ernie L. Prudente
Dr. Prudente graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and earned his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College in 1998 where he graduated with honors and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his internship and residency at UCLA and is board-certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Prudente has been in private practice in Santa Monica since 2001 and has also been teaching medical students since 2003, as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Medicine. He has served as the Chairman of Medicine and is on the Executive Committee at Providence Saint John’s Health Center and in 2016, was elected to the Foundation's Board of Trustees. He has actively volunteered for over a decade in various hospital leadership positions such as Chair, Medical Records Committee and Chair, Continuing Medical Education.
He is passionate about providing thorough and highly responsive personalized care to his patients with a focus on preventative health.
