About Rajesh K. Ranadive
Rajesh Ranadive, MD is a board-certified internal medicine physician. As a primary care provider for adults, Dr. Ranadive focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles, disease/illness prevention through routine health screenings, and treating chronic as well as acute illnesses, with a special emphasis on care of seniors. Dr. Ranadive is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the prestigious New York Methodist Hospital in New York. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cell biology from the University of California, San Diego in 1995. Since 2003, Dr. Ranadive has been in clinical practice in Petaluma, where he started his own private practice post-graduation with his wife Dr. Rajina Ranadive. In 2010, Dr. Ranadive and his wife joined the Providence Medical Group. Over the years, he has been actively involved with Petaluma Valley Hospital (PVH) and has chaired many committees including Chief of Staff and the PVH Board. He currently also serves as the Medical Director for Providence Medical Group. Dr. Ranadive feels very passionate about his community, Petaluma, in which he both lives and serves. He believes that a truly integrated healthcare delivery system is the best way to serve the community and its medical needs. The physicians, medical groups and the healthcare systems need to work collaboratively to care optimally for the community. As a practicing physician in an administrative role, Dr. Ranadive has the unique opportunity to be the voice for the physicians and the caregivers caring for the patients. He is committed to serve on various committees to continue representing the patients as well as the physicians.
