Dr. Vy Nguyen received her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry in 1991 at Wellesley College. She received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine New York, New York in 1997. She completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency training at the University of California, Davis Medical Center, Sacramento in 2000. Dr. Nguyen joined the Mission Internal Medical Group as of September 2000. She is Board Certified, American Board of Internal Medicine.

I so appreciate my doctor's time in working through ways to treat my anxiety. She never seems rushed and always takes more time than she probably has. She is amazing and should be recognized for her interest in my well being. She provides much more than your ordinary routine doctor visit. Example on one visit I mention I'd had a recent stomachache . I didn't think much of it as it went away as quick as it came. Before leaving she poked on my stomach and said she wanted me to get an ext-ray. I told her I felt fine but she insisted. After hospital visit I was told it was apparent my appendix was inflamed and needed immediate attention. This is one of several good examples I could mention.
