This was my initial visit with this Doctor Who is going to be my primary. I found him to be very forthcoming. We had a good back-and-forth discussion.

My experience with Doctor Afshar is excellent. He always care about my health.

Kind and patient doctor. Supporting staff was also kind and responsive. I came in for painful coughing and sickness that had been occurring for about 4 weeks. Chest was checked outside of clothes and throat was checked upon request. Ears were not checked. Diagnosis was viral infection. 2 days later still feeling unwell I went to urgent care. Urgent care did a 15 pathogen panel and confirmed I had a bacterial infection. Urgent care also looked in my ears and saw fluid. Urgent care also did a lung check and determined that my lungs were not clear - they were junky indicating inflammation or bronchitis. Urgent care put me on antibiotics and I started to feel better. At my appointment, I would have appreciated a referral to get the 15 pathogen panel test to get an accurate diagnosis and faster resolution.

Dr. Afshar is amazing. He's super smart and very candid, and explains things very simply. He is very helpful and always works to get you what you want. I highly recommend Dr. Afshar for anyone seeking a personal doctor.

This was my initial meeting to establish Dr. Afshar as my Primary Care Physician. He was good natured, listened, asked my opinion about my health care goals, and offered his thoughts. He has earned my confidence in treating me.

I was at the providers office for a new patient visit. I viewed a video he had made about his practice, which is what convinced me to make an appointment with him. He was very attentive to my concerns and explained to me, in common terms, what was ailing me.

Dr listens carefully and provides easy yo understand instructions.

My blood work showed I was pre diabetic. I've never been diagnosed with that before. Dr said I needed to repeat the blood draw to see if the results would change but when I arrived at the blood draw office they said I had just done it a week ago & my insurance wouldn't pay. I don't feel well but no one seems to want to help me. Very disappointing

It was impossible for me to make an appointment because of my symptoms. I had to tell the scheduling department that I was a mother of two little ones and needed help with a severe cough I've had for over 10 days. She reluctantly gave me an appointment. At the visit the provider brushed off my concerns and dismissed my symptoms. I had to find medication to relieve my symptoms elsewhere. He seemed apathetic to my situation. I had to push to get the proper care I needed and still am left with little help. I have been with Providence for years and had my two children through this system and It becomes less and less about the people and patients that make this institution possible and more about profit.
