San S. Wai, MD

San San Wai, MD, MBBS, is board certified in internal medicine. She received her medical degree from the Institute of Medicine, Rangoon, Myanmar. Both her internship and residency were completed at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. Dr. Wai's clinical interests include office surgeries; workers compensation; school, sports and DMV physicals; travel medicine; weight loss; smoking cessation; urgent care; and comprehensive women's health with emphasis on risk management issues. Dr. Wai is a State-Only Family Planning Program (SOFP) Provider, a Family Planning, Access, Care and Treatment Program (PACT) Provider, a Vaccines for Children (VFC) Provider, and a Clinical Trials Principal Investigator. Dr. Wai is committed to excellence in comprehensive healthcare for her patients, in a partnership that honors individuality and dignity. Her approach involves understanding the patient's healthcare needs and implementing state-of-the-art techniques and compassionate care. Dr Wai is a member of the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Staff providing care in internal medicine.
