About Sweta Chekuri
Dr. Sweta Chekuri is a board-certified Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine Physician with a strong background in Medical Education. She has been practicing as a hospitalist for approximately ten years. Dr. Chekuri completed her internship and residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She has worked as an assistant professor at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein Medical School and as an associate professor at the University of California, Irvine Heath and Medical School.
Dr. Chekuri’s expertise and clinical areas of interest include Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine and Bioethics. She has multiple research publications and obtained her Master of Science in Bioethics from Albert Einstein Medical School.
