About Joshua R. Nicholson
Josh chose gastroenterology because it allows him to see a variety of different medical illnesses while also dealing with complex disease processes. This makes every day both unique and interesting and keeps him motivated to continue working in the field. Josh likes educating patients so they can understand why their care team is ordering certain tests and what they need to do long term to improve their overall health. He believes there is nothing more satisfying than helping a patient with serious illness improve their overall quality of life through the combination of medication, therapeutic interventions, and lifestyle changes.
