About Arthur Molina
Dr. Molina is a graduate of Stanford University in California and received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio and conducted his fellowship in Hematology–Oncology at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center/University of Washington in Seattle.
As an experienced medical oncologist and cancer care provider, Dr. Molina has a special interest in clinical research and caring for patients while supporting their families. He considers both sides of medicine, pairing science and the latest clinical research on the one hand, with the human side and one’s overall wellbeing on the other hand. Dr. Molina enjoys working with patients and their families, helping them cope with the demanding challenges that a cancer diagnosis can bring.
In addition to traditional medical oncology therapy options, such as chemotherapy, Dr. Molina utilizes new cutting-edge treatment approaches like immunotherapies, which can offer patients a less toxic and more targeted way to treat their cancer. Immune and targeted therapies, which look at cancers at the molecular level, allow him to focus on treating these genetic mutations with more effectiveness and precision, with fewer side effects than traditional medical oncology treatments. Dr. Molina is invested in the revolution of cancer care and is excited for future medical advancements in cancer treatment.
