About Rui Li
Dr. Li earned her medical degree and Ph.D. of tumor immunology from Xian Medical University in China. She came to Robert W. Franz Cancer Research Center in the Earle A. Chiles Research Institute at Providence Cancer Institute in 2000 and conducted postdoctoral research in the area of tumor immunology for five years. Then she finished her internal medicine residency at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri and her hematology and medical oncology fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Li is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. She specializes in treating a wide variety of solid organ tumors as well malignant and benign hematologic conditions in Portland, Oregon.

She is upbeat but knows when to be serious. She performed a Bone Marrow Biopsy in June of 2023. I was scared. I thought it would be extremely painful. She took her time and explained everything.
