About Raghu Nandan

Dr. Raghu Nandan completed his medical education at Madras Medical College, Chennai, India in 1984. He did his internal medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York and finished his hematology fellowship at Albert Einstein Montefiore Program in Bronx New York. He completed his Oncology Fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Center, Buffalo, New York. He is triple board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. He is also certified by the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. He has been on the faculty of the University of California, Irvine where he piloted clinical studies in lung cancer. Subsequently, after entering private practice of Oncology and Hematology in the Long Beach Lakewood area in 1997, he has continued as a voluntary faculty at UCI. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, maintains interest in clinical research and committed to providing the highest quality care for his patients. "I believe in making sure patients and their loved ones feel cared for and respected. My staff and I specialize in providing personalized solutions for individual patients. By prioritizing the patient-physician relationship, we strive to put patients first in everything we do." In his free time, Dr. Nandan enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and spending quality time with his wife and two children.
