About Sarah Ali

Oncologist/Hematologist, Sarah Ali, M.D., found her calling in oncology because of the intricate science behind cancer and the potential to make a difference in the lives of patients. Dr. Ali is determined to contribute to the field of oncology as an advocate for patients, bound by a commitment to treat her patients as she would want her own family to be treated — by providing personalized, empathetic care. Before joining City of Hope, she was an oncologist/hematologist at Ventura County Medical Center in California, Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, Colo., and Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, where she also served as the director of the Supportive Care Clinic. She has been recognized with Franciscan Health’s patient-nominated Healing Hands Award and listed among the physician-nominated Top Doctors of Indianapolis. Beyond the white coat, Dr. Ali rejuvenates her spirit by immersing herself in nature, cherishing quality time with her family and actively participating in group events that promote integrative medicine such as meditation retreats and mindfulness practices. Passionate Oncologist by day, and proud Dog Mom by night. Her furry friend teaches her about joy and zest for life, a lesson Dr. Ali carries in her interactions with her patients.
