I like Dr. Shanta L. Schriever very much. She is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. I feel very comfortable with her. Thank you Dr. Shanta.

I can't say enough about Shanta and the level of care she provided during my visit. She was thoughtful, patient, empathetic, and SO gentle during my Pap smear, especially considering I have a traumatic response to the procedure and needed a lot of support. I've honestly never had such a positive experience in the medical field in the U.S. Or overseas. She helped change my traumatic response, which is hugely empowering. She has a lot to teach other providers who minimize the pain/discomfort/anxiety/trauma that gynecological care can create (I'm looking at those who said that IUD insertion would feel like a bee sting). THANK YOU SHANTA!

I am happy with my gynecological provider.She listened to my concerns & was quick to adjust my medication for skin issues, according to my wishes. She also explained exactly how often to use the new cream she was prescribing.

She was amazing so glad to visit the office and her! Reassuring and so grateful to have her expertise!

Shanta is the best!

Shanta is the only life time health care provider I have; maybe 30 years. She's a great listener, pushes back on my thoughts to ensure the best path forward. And she has the best laugh. I can't imagine getting health care from anyone else.

I have seen Shanta for over 20 years. I panicked when I saw she was in another location but the team here is just a wonderful. I don't usually look forward to medical visits but am always happy to see her. She has been an important part of my overall health team and has positioned me to enjoy this phase of life.

Shanta is one of the most compassionate providers I've ever had the privilege of meeting. She was an excellent listener, addressed my concerns, and followed up afterwards to make sure I was feeling okay and understood the medication she was prescribing. Shanta is very personable and knowledgeble, highly recommend as she puts you at ease right away.

I rarely get the opportunity to see the same person for my annual OBGYN appointment at the Women's East Medical Clinic. However, I have always received excellent care from the team of doctors and practitioners at this clinic. They are far more engaged with me during visits. They look closely at my history, ask good questions, are gentle with procedures, and are happy to answer questions without coming across as rushed. This has not been my experience at other facilities and I've chosen to pay a little more for the Providence health plan specifically so that I can receive care at the East Providence Women's Clinic.

This was my first visit with Shanta and I came away feeling great about it and her. She is open, caring, and kind. Her energy is positive and inviting. I couldn't have wished for a better experience. Thank you!

She had a really thorough knowledge of my medical history, was really kind and thoughtful about making sure to tell me what she was doing and why (which showed that an understanding and compassion for my past trauma/mental health history as well), and she answered all of my many questions with details that put me at ease.
