Andrea S. Wang, MD

Dr. Wang was born in California and raised in the Washington D.C. area. She received her undergraduate degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her MD at the St. Louis University School of Medicine. She returned to the east coast for residency at the University of Maryland, where she was elected chief resident. After completing her fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she held a faculty position at Columbia University. Seeking adventure, she moved from Manhattan to Alaska, where she met her husband. They live off the grid on 40 acres in Talkeetna. Dr. Wang enjoys Nordic skiing with her white German Shepherd (Flurry), gardening, and yoga.
