Jennifer G. Rodgers, MD

Beginning her career as a receptionist, Dr. Jennifer Rodgers knew she wanted a change. "I was interested in health care and was encouraged to attend an info session about medical school. While in medical school, I was drawn to performing procedures. General surgery is great because it encompasses a broad range of care for my patients."

In her practice, Dr. Rodgers feels her most important role is as an educator. "I am here to share my expertise with my patients and help them make informed decisions about their medical and surgical care."

Dr. Rodgers received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her residency at Wellspan York Hospital in Pennsylvania.

Born in South Carolina, Dr. Rodgers moved quite a bit because of her military family, although was mostly raised in Tacoma, Wash. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, running and knitting.
