About William B. Craft
For as long as he can remember, Brad Craft, M.D., knew that he wanted to be a surgeon. He brings this level of dedication and certainty to his practice today. “I emphasize that every single one of my patients deserves quality medical and surgical care,” he says.
Dr. Craft’s practice is built around a philosophy that the patient always comes first. He believes that his most important role—and what he enjoys most about his practice—is building relationships with patients and their families. “I always aim for open and honest communication with each patient,” he says, “so that they will understand the problem and will make good health care choices.”
After studying microbiology and bio-chemistry from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, Dr. Craft earned his medical degree from University of Utah School of Medicine. He then completed his internship with University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati, Ohio, where he also finished his residency in general surgery. Dr. Craft completed a fellowship at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and Shriners Hospitals for Children Burns Institute and has special training in research, surgical nutrition and critical care of burns. He is board certified in general surgery.
When not working, Dr. Craft enjoys spending time with his wife and five children; together they enjoy travel and outdoor activities such as scuba diving and riding motorcycles.

He was quick to get me in to see him and quickly made me an appointment for surgery

I really appreciate Dr. Craft. He performed surgery on my tumor. I needed advice on my port, and although he did not implant this, he was willing to see me, check on my concerns and advise me on further action. He has always been helpful, friendly and caring. His helpfulness was reassuring, and no further action was necessary at the time. But for him to take the time to see me and advise given he had nothing to do with the port implant, speaks very highly of his dedication to his patients' needs. He also assured me that if anything does go wrong, he will take care of me from here. Having cancer is a very emotional experience and the compassion that Dr. Craft demonstrated gives me hope and comfort. Thank you, Dr. Craft, for all you do for those in need of your skill.
