I met the doctor through the hospital for emergency surgery. The doctor took care of me, explained everything, provided good service, and kept me relaxed and got me ready for the surgery.

30 -45 min in waiting room. Everything else was exceptional

Doctor took interest and answered all questions. Appeared to do thorough exam and recommended next steps If pain does not improve.Heavily booked. Over 4 weeks before open appointment slot.

Dr. Daskalakis previously did extensive surgery about 8 years ago, resulting in eventually having my colon removed. His work Is superb, resolving a very unique and complicated case. I have been having pain in right abdomen for over a year, with finally being diagnosed recently with a Ventral Hernia with the help of Dr. "D." There was no question as to who my wife and I wanted to do the surgery. He again performed robotic surgery and resolved the issue again. Along with being a very skilled surgeon, his professionalism, compassion and ability to show his human side, is, in my opinion, such a special attribute. Maybe this should be expected, but I can tell you after numerous other surgeries during my 71 years, It doesn't happen. Providence/St. Jude should be very proud to still have Dr. D as part of their surgical staff!! My wife and I are!! [Name(s)]

Dr Daskalakis is the BEST dr, I have seen! He is thorough, caring, and just wonderful. He puts one at ease and is always there to provide information or address concerns. You virtually saved my life when I got sick and spent over one month at St. Jude hospital. He is an asset to your hospital and I am so grateful that he was able to save me.

Dr. D is an excellent surgeon and people person. I appreciate his sense of humor as it works well with me. He is superior at making a potentially frightening situation not as frightening and that he will be watching out for you the entire time. He breeds trust and that is so important between a patient and surgeon. I know he is one of the best surgeons in the U.S. but the trust is important because a patient knows that Dr. D will do what is best for his patient.
