Dr Tony and his entire staff have taken care of my medical needs for over 1.5 years and have always gone above and beyond to meet my needs. During a very difficult period of fighting Breast cancer they have made this a pleasant as they could and have ALWAYS made sure I was comfortable and my concerns were addressed and answered to my satisfaction. I would be extremely happy to use them again in the future should the need arise. Dr Tony would be the only surgeon I would feel confident with taking care of me and my family

He treats me with respect and explains everything so I can understand, answers my questions and sometimes he will draw me a picture on the problem I am having so I can understand better. He is a fantastic doctor and person and I trust him very much. Wish more doctors were like him.

Tony answered all my questions and was very thorough in his explanations of treatment options. It would have been even better if he discussed detailed aspects of my scopes (EGD and colonoscopy) with me.

I'm a brand new patient, first time visiting Dr.Anthony. Other than the wait time the visit went very well.

Dr. Tony is my surgeon and I have seen him for specialty care. Originally I was referred to him for a hernia (which he identified correctly as cancer). I've always thought of Dr. Tony as affable, highly professional, profoundly efficient in his time management with patients, and also wonderfully charismatic, open and approachable for medical discussions, and uniquely comforting in his straight-forward comforting manner of addressing my questions and concerns. Coming back to see him again for an in office surgery I was not surprised to see he has cultivated a marvelous support staff both in front and in the medical back offices having the same qualities along with high quality training and information. Hence this is a team of professionals I would wish to serve as an example to all of Providence. Because this team has the right stuff. Their number one priority is me--the patient. And I feel this comforting presence when I enter the front door and it flows until I leave the building. Even my aftercare instructions are written focusing on the details I need to know and do on the front page instead of buried beneath pages of admin info and protocols. Just an excellent crew. I would call them in a heartbeat if I had a problem they could treat.

I appreciated the confident competence of the Dr. And the kindness of the assistant.

Dr. Tony has been my solid ground through a stressful cancer diagnosis. He has wrangled all of my referrals and gotten me in with all of the other specialty providers, imaging and testing that I have needed so far. He checks up on me regularly and goes over results with me In a way that I can understand. He consults other specialty providers when needed. He is very kind and calms my anxieties about the whole situation. When paperwork gets sent to his office, it gets filled out as soon as they have time in their busy schedule. I am very grateful to have ended up on his schedule.

Busy with people seriously need their care. They do take time with patients

Dr Tony wanted to do an invasive surgery. I requested imaging to confirm surgical necessity, and was told "why would we do that when I'm confident I know the problem?" I would personally rather have non-invasive imaging prior to a surgical procedure. I do not feel like my feelings regarding this were acknowledged, nor respected.

After my visit, they got me right in for a colonoscopy

The Office staff, the nurses and the doctor were all very nice, knowledgeable, kind, patient and thorough. I appreciated all of those things tremendously. It did take almost 3 months to get the appointment and I was really stressed out until I could talk to the doctor to understand what was happening in my body. I'm sorry that we are so overwhelmed with patients and lacking medical staff. That's the only way out could take that long. Everybody was wonderful and I'm grateful this office exists locally, we are lucky to have them. I think they need help is all. We need more of these wonderful people.

I am very happy that I am seeing Dr Tony. He is fantastic about explaining to me about my problem and want needs to be done. I really am glad that he explains to me so I understan exactlt what is going on. All of the nurses and receptionist are very friendly, polite and helpful.

Dr. Tony is an excellent surgeon and has enough knowledge and experience to give good, sound advice regarding the surgery, the recovery period and many future issues that may arise and what to expect.He listens to me and talks with me to the extent that I feel part of my own care.

I thought Dr. Tony was very well informed about my medical situation, my health records, and was able to give me some ideas about that might be causing my pain, which was the reason for the visit. He listened to my history and my concerns, seemed tor be very knowledgeable about my situation, and was willing to try to fix the problem, by referring me to get a scan and see him afterwards. I was very pleased, and he was a nice guy, very easy to relate to, but also very knowledgeable.

I received excellent care for an emergency medical condition including two followup visits and surgery. Dr. Tony was highly competent and caring. I am very grateful for the care I received.

Good experience overall with Dr. Tony's bedside manner & a friendly /knowledgable staff

Dr. Tony, as he is called, has a wry sense of humor and is caring, professional and competent. He listens well and is keenly aware that a visit with him usually means a stressful time for the patient and their family members. I really like the fact that he listens to and includes my wife in our discussions as she is a very important part of my healing and surgery recovery process.

Everything was very good, with one exception. I was hopeful that surgery could have been obtained sooner.

Very friendly staff and doctor

They got me into a consultation with Dr very quickly. Consequently we did have to wait for almost an hour. Plus he had to get to a prebooked meeting. But he graciously gave a good exam and consult, even though he had to rush. It was a good consultation and he made me feel that he would be right for my surgery.

They squeezed me in for a consultation for surgery. They b treated me well. The doctor was concerned and answered my questions. It was noticeable that he was short of time, but he apologized multiple times. I understood his time constraints. I was however disappointed the surgery wasn't scheduled for 2 weeks and 3 days after my consultation. It's breast cancer surgery. And I am understandably anxious.

I very much appreciated Anthony Anagnostou's kind, respectful & personable manner. I felt completely confident in his knowledge & skills. He immediately gained my trust. I would unreservedly recommend him to someone else. The only complaint I have was the "wait time" for my appointment, which I don't see as a reflection on him, but rather the patient/care provider ratio. My appointment was scheduled for 3:00 pm. I waited until 5:00 pm to see Dr Anthony. I had a cyst on my back surgically removed after hours. His assistant also remained, though all the front reception staff had left for the day. I felt bad these care providers had to stay so late. I know there was at least one other patient after me. But this all appeared to be very much the norm & I was treated as if I was not inconveniencing them at all. During the long wait on the day of my appointment, I grew increasingly anxious that there wouldn't be sufficient time for the surgery & I would need to be rescheduled. I was so grateful to have the inflamed cyst removed from my back, because I had been waiting for 4 weeks with it, needing to make a trip to the ER for during that time. I greatly appreciated Dr Anthony willingness to go ahead & do the surgery when he could have been home having dinner!

Dr Tony was clear and precise !

I was very impressed with Dr. Tony. He was very personable, listened to my input and my concerns, and seemed to be very knowledgeable about what was possibly going on with me. I thought he was very good, and I'd recommend him to anyone who asked me about surgeons in this area.

Dr. Tony was my surgeon for bladder removal. This appointment was a follow-up session to that hospital experience. (& days at St. Joe's EKA). He was a great surgeon and the follow-up was helpful, clear, thoughtful, and one of the4 better post-op appointments I have ever had. The other questions in this survey do not pertain to this visit.

Good experience

He was very direct, easy to talk to and knowledgable. He made sure that I got my biopsies and surgery scheduled as soon as possible. He even called me on the phone a couple of times, to make sure that I didn't have any additional questions after my appointment. I know how very busy he is and I can't imagine how large his case load and patient load is, so that was very kind of him to call. I am very grateful that he is my surgeon.

He explains things thoroughly and answers all questions I had. I cannot praise him enough and feel very fortunate to have him monitoring my post breast cancer care.

Experiences have been fine

All in all it was a good experience. I don't think I have any complaints.

I appreciate the dictated summary and future plans handed to me when I left. Questions about what I may have forgotten otherwise were already answered.

He's very professional, good attitude,and skillful as a surgeon. He's concerned to the max about the patients and their wellbeing.
