Michelle P. Thomas, MD

Originally from California, Dr. Thomas received her undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences and Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in 1984. She received her M.D. from University of Pittsburgh in 1988. Her general surgery residency training started at the University of Colorado and was completed the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency in 1996 She has also received a Master of Science degree in infectious disease from the University of London. Dr. Thomas and was Board Certified in General Surgery in 1997, and was last recertified in 2016. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After finishing residency, she established her practice in Anchorage and has enjoyed being part of the community.
