About Sarah A. Rodriguez
Dr. Rodriguez received her medical degree from the University of Kentucky. She later completed her internal medicine and gastroenterology residency at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Dr. Rodriguez also finished an advanced fellowship in endoscopic ultrasound. She also has a military background and was Chief of Internal Medicine Consult Service for the Department of Internal Medicine at Madigan Army Hospital. Dr. Rodriguez brings The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology West many honors and awards. She was chair of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) Technology Committee through 2013 and is now serving as a councilor on the ASGE Governing Board. She has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and is performing research in diseases of the pancreas in conjunction with researchers at OHSU. She is currently serving as Medical Director of the Medical Procedures Unit at Providence St. Vincent Hospital.
