About Sarah C. Lee
Dr. Lee chose gastroenterology because it is such a multifaceted field. During her residency, she fell in love with the field because it allowed her to take part in both the diagnostic and therapeutic role of procedures as well as the physician-patient relationship that comes with chronic diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease. She believes medicine is a way to experience perspectives other than your own by getting to know different people and learning about their lives. The relationships she builds with her patients build are what she believes makes her profession so rewarding.
