Daisy S. Lankarani, MD

Dr. Daisy Shabnam Lankarani relocated to Los Angeles following completion of her gastroenterology & hepatology fellowship at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine. Prior to this, Dr. Lankarani completed her internal medicine residency in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. During residency, she was selected by her program’s faculty to serve as chief resident given her excellent performance in evidence-based patient care and involvement in teaching within the program. Dr. Lankarani is very passionate about treatment of gastrointestinal disorders and strives to provide compassionate care to all of her patients. She is an active member in the top GI societies including AGA, ACG, and ASGE and has had participation in societal meetings with presentations of her interesting clinical cases and research. Dr. Lankarani believes in the importance of keeping her patients engaged in their medical care and maintaining joint decision making. Outside of work, Dr. Lankarani enjoys trying new cuisine, hiking, yoga, and going to the beach. Our office staff speak both Russian and Spanish. In addition to Farsi, I also speak basic Spanish.
