Lien Nyugen first told me Dr Yang had not done my previous colonoscopy when I insisted he had. Then she corrected herself. She was unable to find my medical record said it was done "exterior" so she was unable to give me any information on my previous colonoscopy. I declined to schedule my next one and will do cologuard instead.

Lien is truly excellent and I appreciated the promptness in getting an appointment to address the issue. She is easy to talk with, very good at explaining and even called me on my way home to give me some additional information. Dr. Feng has an excellent nurse practitioner working with him and Lien is an excellent enhancement to his practice.

I am a retired physician who uses multiple specialists with mission internal medical group. It appears that you must be understaffed in the gastroenterology department as wait times to see Dr. Feng, seems to be as much as four months. In my case, I was trying to avoid an acute hospitalization but Dr. Feng, was booked. Fortunately, The scheduling person for the gastroenterology department Was very empathetic, contacted Lien and arranged a telehealth visit the same day. I was familiar with her from A phone call last summer and she was able to give me some suggestions regarding my care. I do believe that a costly emergency room visit was prevented by her understanding and diligence and she should be commended for that. In addition, I believe you should know that when she returned to work several days later she personally called to ask how things had progressed (although I did directly corresponded with Dr. Feng, during that time). I know you're probably only hear complaints from the surveys but I would request that you personally tell Lien that she has received accolades in this survey.
