In my opinion it's not appropriate to evaluate the Dr. & procedure until after the procedure is completed. As for now I can say so far, so good.

This was my first visit to Dr. Kim. He was very personable and approachable. He was very thorough in his explanations of the procedures and allowed time for me to ask questions.

Dr. Kim was fantastic. He came recommended by a former GI Lab nurse. She said he had excellent bedside manner, and was caring and listens well. And he met all of those. First visits are always rough because there's a lot of history to navigate through but he put me at ease, I didn't think I was dying, and I feel confident in his recommendations.

I had an excellent experience. Dr. Daniel Kim was very personable and answered all my questions clearly.

This visit was my first visit at this provider every one were very nice and help full Dr Daniel Kim was super nice and curious and listen to all my issues with patients.

I was experiencing extreme abdominal pain after a brief stay in Mission Hospital. I never saw a GI specialist in that hospital, but that's another story. I called the Hoag GI group to see if I could get an appointment with someone because my regular Hoag GI specialist was not immediately available. I was told that Dr. Kim was on call and would call me back that day (Thursday). Later I received a call that same day saying Dr. Kim would not be able to see me until the following Tuesday. I thought that was odd and I asked what "being on call" meant. There was no explanation given. I saw Dr. Kim the following Tuesday at his office. Although he was kind he told me to take Metamucil and sent me on my way. I asked if he would be my permanent GI specialist (my regular one only knows me from colonoscopies) and he reluctantly agreed to see me again should a problem arise. I do not think he took me or my condition very seriously. Perhaps to him it wasn't serious, but I felt that I was more of an annoyance to him than a patient in which he demonstrated any interest, He is not a bad man. He just wasn't a very good Doctor that day in my view.

Dr. Kim was very attentive and really tried to help me figure out what was going on. He has a great "bed-side" manner.

Have follow up appointment to continue to find ways to solve issue. Like the doctor

Dr Kim made a call to follow up on my health after he learnt that I was rushed to the ER because my condition escalated. He need not have called or bothered but the fact that he did shows that he cares.
