Dr. Juan Francisco Arguello (AKA Dr. Frank Arguello) is an exceptionally experienced practitioner specializing in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Infectious Diseases. He has been affiliated with Mission Hospital since 1979. He currently runs his private practice in Laguna Niguel and serves full-time as on-call Gastroenterologist at Mission Hospital Laguna Beach. He was born in Nicaragua, though moved to California at the young age of 11. He completed medical school in 1972 at Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico. He returned to California and completed his residency as Chief Resident in internal medicine at Kern Medical Center. After completing his residency, he moved down to Southern California and completed his Infectious Diseases and Gastroenterology fellowships at University of California Irvine and Long Beach Veteran Administration Hospital.
