I went to the ER after a fall. My Dr called me to f/u on my condition and schedule a f/u even before I could do it. I got an appointment the next day I was really impressed they were so efficient and caring with my condition from nurse to Doctor!

Dr. Douglas Hammerstrom is one of the most excellent health providers I have experienced in my 76 years.His respect for me and for the questions I asked made me feel heard and of consequence. My appointment gave me the answers I needed and explored issues I hadn't thought of but were of consequence to me. Dr. Hammerstrom was thorough. Leaving his office I felt really cared for, I felt quite reassured.

I was not scheduled to see Dr. Hammerstrom, but my PCP was ill. I was treated very well by Dr. Hammerstrom and his nurse/assistant. He explained everything during the exam and asked pertinent questions about my health history. He recommended a Pnuemonia vaccination that I received in the office. He was great!

I choose to stay with Providence because the care I receive is exceptional. The only negative thing would be my provider is too booked.

Dr Hammerstrom is a knowledgable and careful doctor. He listened to what I said and made sure we had covered anything I had questions about.

Dr. Hammerstrom is excellent. He is knowledgeable and caring. I cannot remember when a physician has taken time to call me to go over lab results and discuss health concerns as does Dr Hammerstrom. Now that I am 65, Dr. H has been great at helping me navigate health issues associated with getting older. In particular a pneumonia shot. We also identified some issues with health before they became overly problematic. Dr. Hammerstrom is no nonsense in his approach but it is his way of caring. What a true professional you have in him. Providence should be proud to have such a quality physician in their team. I am lucky to have him as my doctor.

This was a pre surgical clearence and Dr Hammerstrom touched all the bases that needed to be adressed before my surgery.

Dr. Hammerstrom acted as my interim primary care provider after my long-term (24 years) provider retired and the new doctor joining the practice arrived and settled in. The new doctor to the practice stayed only a short time (2 years or just under) and I was transfered back to Dr. Hammerstrom within the practice. After having the same doctor for 24 years I was not thrilled about the sudden change. However, I feel that during the interim period that I was under his care and after the rapid turnover going back to him that he has provided me with nearly seamless care to that of my long-term doctor. I'm very pleased to have him in charge of my health needs. He explains clearly and has great bed-side manner.

Everything was great. I will be seeing him in two weeks.

The wellness visit with Dr. Hammerstrom went very well. He listened to my health concerns, asked clarifying questions when trying to discern the symptoms I was describing. He has been attentive to my elevated blood pressure during the past two years and I appreciate his continued goal to get it to a more manageable level.

Always great experience with Dr Hammerstrom! MA are awesome. I could tell male MA who first made contact was New but very nice. Front desk clerk who checked me in was a bit Kurt. The clerk who checked me out was very. Very nice.
