I had to wait three months to get a new patient visit with Providence, but the wait was worth it because of the doctor I was assigned. I couldn't have been luckier in being assigned to Dr Nelson. He was very caring and answered all my questions.

Chris Nelson went above and beyond with help how to navigate a difficult situation after a sudden and unexpected hospice rejection after 2 months of late/end stage Alzheimer's patient. He provided valuable advice as per course of action; his demeanor is professional, kind, and caring, medical knowledge and expertise beyond expectation. Ended appt feeling like my mom, his patient, is valued and cared for. Care team is present, fully supportive, and knowledgeable.

Dr Nelson had a student in for this exam. It's good for the Student to hear the questions from the patient and to listen to the Dr when they speak. Learn how to ask questions and how to engage with the patient to make them feel comfortable. Dr Nelson does good and I think the student learned as well.

Chris spent time with me going over the Dexcon7 and how it works he made me feel like I was family and he wanted to make sure that my health needs were met and he helped me get this approved by my insurance company and he was not going to let them deny the proper path to help me monitor my blood sugars. I can't thank him enough.
