Vishal Kottapalli, DO

Dr. Kottapalli grew up in Beaverton, Oregon and completed his bachelor’s degree at Portland State University, majoring in biology and general science. During college he had several positions in healthcare, including working in clinical research and as a pharmacy technician. He went to medical school at Rocky Vista University in Ivins, Utah. While in medical school he served as a pre-doctoral intern with the primary care medicine department at his school. There, he served as junior faculty and grew his leadership abilities while teaching medical students clinical skills and taking on additional research and clinical responsibilities. Throughout medical school Dr. Kottapalli developed a strong interest in family medicine due to the specialty's wide scope and focus on preventative care. Dr. Kottapalli’s medical interests include pediatrics, geriatrics, procedures, and hospital medicine. Outside of work, some things he enjoys are spending time with family and friends, meditation, reading, and sports. He is excited to be back in the northwest and become part of the Tri-Cities community.
