Jenny L. Johnston Coleman, ARNP

I'm originally from Shelton, WA and now live here in Olympia. I have practiced medicine for 23 years. I received my undergraduate degree at Pacific Lutheran University and my advanced degree at Seattle Pacific University. As a RN, I worked for 15 years in pediatrics in the intensive care unit settings. I was also a "weekend warrior," spending four years as a nurse in the Army Reserves. I had the honor to volunteer in a children's cardiac ICU in Saigon, Vietnam between 2009-2010. Since that time, I've enjoyed a career in family practice, working in primary care. I've been a nurse practitioner since 2015. I am passionate about the art of caring for others, and I realize that it is multifaceted. I feel that healing takes place not just in medicine, but in the relationships we build with each other. I enjoy working together with patients to meet each individual's healthcare goals and needs. My areas of interest include preventive medicine and diabetes.
