About Heather L. Adair
Seeing the care her sister received during a childhood illness inspired Heather Adair, PA-C, to pursue a career in medicine. "I chose family medicine because it provides the opportunity to care for patients through all stages of life," says Heather.
In her practice, Heather believes acute health concerns are always important to address, but she enjoys focusing on preventive medicine and patient education. "I like to work with my patients to create a plan that will work best for their health," says Heather. "I'm here to listen to my patients, be their advocate and ensure they get proper care."
After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development at Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon, Heather received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Heather was born in the San Francisco area and moved to Oregon as a teenager. After traveling for school, she knew the Pacific Northwest was home. In her free time, Heather enjoys being outdoors, traveling and spending time with family.

I think Heather is amazing! She always puts the pieces together of my health for the correct solution.
Providence Patient
I waited 9 months to meet a new primary care provider. This was a follow up appt with a PA to complete an initial health assessment (PAP) . The PA Heather is wonderful. The dr I originally saw was disappointing after waiting 9 months for the appt. She was detached since she was relocating at the end of March and I wasn't following her to her new location at tannasborn. I am grateful for Heather and will continue my care with her.

Ms Adair is the reason I remain with Providence.
Providence Patient
Heather is compassionate and the only provider I am willing to see on my care team. I will wait to schedule with her if there aren't appts available. She handles sensitive issues respectful and with dignity. Mental health and being over weight are topics most doctor are unhelpful and dismissive about. She works with to get the care I need to get the medication and support I need to work and function in life. That is very hard to find. She seems to get that certain conditions get very little respectful care. She handles them well.
