About Brian D. Sinnott
Brian formerly worked in immunology research at Oregon Health Sciences University. He learned he’d rather provide care to people directly. Now, he enjoys sharing his knowledge with patients in order to support them through challenges and care for themselves well. “When patients fully understand their medical issues and options,” he says, “they are their own best advocates.”
Brian grew up in Southern Oregon. He earned a BS in biochemistry and computer science from Trinity College in Connecticut, an MS in biochemistry from Oregon State University, and an MS in Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, cooking, eating, and listening to history and fantasy audiobooks.

Always good at this office
Providence Patient
Brian Sinnott listened carefully to me, particularly regarding my long history of anxiety symptoms and the interventions that work and haven't worked for me. He explained the reservations about the medication but respected my careful use of the drug over the years. I had never had a drug screen done, so I welcomed his suggestion to prove that I am a very infrequent user of the drug. I felt respected.
